Life’s hard enough. You should pick your battles, and most of us parents do. I would say that certain things have become more important for me as a Mom to pick than others. We all want or children to experience happiness and reach their full potential. Often times I will hear a parent let the child decide what is or is not important based on what the child likes rather than what they know is truly priority even if it takes more work.
